Microsoft sealed a deal with well known film director Peter Jackson which is sure to draw much attention to the Xbox 360 game console.
Peter Jackson, known for his outstanding work with films such as “King Kong” and “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, has joined forces with Microsoft to create some of the most incredible content for Microsoft and it’s next generation gaming console.
“We know that Peter Jackson is well aware of how to tell a story. So that’s definitely the type of person you want interested in game content.”
Jackson and his screenwriting partner, Fran Walsh, plan on setting up Wingnut Interactive, a new development company, in order to create an interactive series for Xbox Live.
Jackson and Walsh have also made an agreement with Microsoft to produce “Halo” the movie which is an adaptation of Microsoft’s well renouned best seller. The film is scheduled to be released sometime in 2008.
That’s not all. Microsoft has several great announcements just in time for the holiday season such as the release of Xbox Live Anywhere which is compatible with PC’s and other popular devices.
